Feather plucking or feather picking birds are such a sorry sight - all their beautiful feathers mutilated or completely removed, some completely bald. What leads them to get into this sad state? Why do they do it?
We personally find it very distressing to see our lovely feathered friends in this unhappy, unfeathered state and feel they cannot be happy in themselves to be in this mess.
So, we have decided to set up this little web site for other people like us, like you, to get together and share our stories and try to help these poor little mites. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a parrot, a gouldian finch or a battery hen we’d like to think together we can help more birds back to their former happy glorious selves.
